There's something special about old Australian guitars, and this Pacific Chord has plenty of character.

Built in Australia during the 1950s, this guitar is an honest survivor that wears every one of its years proudly. The original tobacco sunburst finish has mellowed beautifully, while decades of genuine playing have given the body the sort of patina that simply can't be recreated.

It remains largely original, retaining its factory stencil headstock logo, original paper label, open-gear tuners and bridge. The painted fretboard markers and simple construction are typical of Pacific's early guitars and form part of their unmistakable charm.

Despite the cosmetic wear, the guitar is structurally sound and produces the dry, woody tone that vintage ladder-braced acoustics are known for. Whether you're a collector of Australian-made instruments, a blues or folk player looking for an authentic vintage sound, or simply someone who appreciates guitars with history, this Pacific Chord is well worth a look.
