Vintage Ariana 5-String Banjo – Made in Japan – Original Hard Case

A very clean vintage Ariana 5-string resonator banjo, made in Japan and likely dating from the 1970s or early 1980s.

This banjo has a beautiful gloss natural resonator, cream binding, wooden armrest, vintage-style tuners, metal rim hardware and classic 5-string layout with fifth-string tuner. It also comes with its original hard case and Allen keys, making it a much nicer complete package than many similar vintage banjos.

Condition is very good overall, with light marks, small signs of use and some age-related tarnishing to the hardware. The resonator presents especially well and gives the instrument a lovely vintage Japanese look.
