We have in store a very special and rare Swedish made Jimmy Hagstrom. The Jimmys were a short run of archtops designed by the legendary luthier James L. D'Aquisto. D'Aquisto teamed up with both Hagstrom and Fender to design guitars intended for factory production. His first venture into this type of production was with Hagstrom in 1968 and then again a second more refined run in 76. Theres much debate here in the store over which model we are looking at, as well as online. So go down that rabbit hole at your own peril. Either was its a very special and rare little guy. Recently serviced here in store, binding has been redone on the neck and a partial refret from the first to fifth fret. The finish is quite worn as you can see in the photos. This is a real collectors gem!
