Built with an A-grade laminated spruce top and A-grade sapele back and sides, the Gage Roads combines a bright, articulate acoustic response with the warmth and depth of its sapele body.
Most importantly, each Gage Roads is set up by Freo Guitars before sale and upgraded with Elixir acoustic guitar strings, giving the guitar a great playing feel and long-lasting, consistent tone straight from the outset.
Sitka spruce internal bracing supports the soundboard, while an okoume neck, rosewood fingerboard and rosewood bridge give the guitar a comfortable and traditional playing platform. Its 648mm scale length provides the familiar feel expected from a full-size steel-string acoustic.
A natural gloss finish, warm sapele body, black binding and distinctive floral pickguard give the Gage Roads plenty of character without losing the traditional look of a classic dreadnought.
