Fender Custom Shop Deluxe Telecaster Quilted Maple Top Candy Red

At Freo Guitars, we occasionally come across instruments that sit just outside the ordinary and this 2012 Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Deluxe Telecaster is one of them.

Finished in a rich, transparent Candy Red over a beautifully figured quilted maple top, this Custom Shop build brings together classic Fender DNA with a more refined, almost boutique aesthetic. It’s a Telecaster that immediately stands apart—visually striking, yet grounded in familiar tone and feel.

The ash body provides excellent resonance and clarity, while the quilted maple top adds both visual depth and a touch of exclusivity. Paired with a highly figured one-piece maple neck in a comfortable large “C” profile, this is an instrument that feels as good as it looks.

The body is clean with no significant marks or damage, and the finish retains a deep gloss that highlights the quilted maple top beautifully. The neck is straight, frets are in great shape, and the guitar plays effortlessly across the board.
