Epiphone is paying tribute to the old school with a limited edition of six of their models in TV Pelham Blue, a colour finish that was first introduced in the ’60s. The colour was offered as a custom option in its heyday and as such is rare to find on vintage instruments.
The lineup includes the Ltd. Ed. TV Pelham Blue EB-3 bass, which features a mahogany body and neck with a 1960s SlimTaper profile. The headstock has a Sloped Dovewing and a vintage style Epiphone logo pearloid inlay.
This bass is fitted with a Epiphone Mini Bass humbucker in the in the bridge position and a Sidewinder Bass humbucker in the neck position. Controls include a 3-position rotary pickup selector, volume knobs for each pickup, and a master tone knob.
