Lively and loud unplugged, warm, rich and full when plugged in. The Hi Gain single coil pickups get along well with drives and fuzzes; there's plenty of definition and sparkle on tap to cut through a mix. The neck is surprisingly comfy; not too thick or thin and pretty easy to get used to.
