Step into the golden era of Japanese craftsmanship with this 1977 Greco SE500 Super Sounds – a stunning Strat-style electric from the FujiGen factory, renowned for producing some of the finest "lawsuit-era" guitars ever made.
This SE500 is 100% original, right down to the Maxon single-coil pickups, vintage tuners, and aged control knobs. It features a natural finish over a solid sen ash body, paired with a comfortable C-shaped maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The 3-bolt neck plate and large 70s-style headstock nod to Fender’s CBS-era designs, but with the tight construction and detail only FujiGen could deliver.
The pickups deliver that sought-after chime and clarity, with classic Strat quack in positions 2 and 4, and a warm, articulate neck tone. Frets are in excellent shape, with plenty of life, and the guitar is well set up with smooth action and reliable intonation.
Whether you're a collector, vintage tone chaser, or MIJ enthusiast, this SE500 is a time capsule from a remarkable era in guitar building.
